Multimedia exhibition elements take you through a journey recounting each shoe’s inspiration and significance in the company’s history. A film by Marcus Werner projected on the walls of the space provides a rich visual landscape for the exhibition.
Included in the exhibition are 15 of the most significant shoes from the company’s archives including ‘Feather’ immortalized by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City when she exclaimed, “I lost my Choo!” and ‘Macy’, a satin sandal worn most recently on Academy Award® winner Natalie Portman.
