Schiaparelli, who worked in Paris from the 1920s until her house closed in 1954, was associated closely with the Surrealist movement and created iconic pieces such as the ‘tear’ dress, the ‘shoe’ hat, and the ‘bug’ necklace. Prada, who holds a degree in political science, took over her family’s Milan-based business in 1978, and focuses on fashion that reflects the eclectic nature of Postmodernism.Inspired by Miguel Covarrubias’s satirical 'Impossible Interviews' for Vanity Fair in the 1930s, curators Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton orchestrate conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of the designers’ most innovative work. Film director, screenwriter, and producer Baz Luhrmann is the exhibition’s creative consultant, and has created a series of filmed elements for the exhibition. The production design for the films is by Luhrmann's long-time collaborator, Catherine Martin. The exhibition design is realised by Nathan Crowley, who was also creative consultant for the Met’s exhibitions ‘Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy’, and ‘American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity’. All mannequin head treatments and masks are designed by Guido Palau.

Jardin du Versailles
When the château was built, Versailles was a country village; today, however, it is a suburb of Paris, some 20 kilometres southwest of the French capital. The court of Versailles was the centre of political power in France from 1682, when Louis XIV moved from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in October 1789 after the beginning of the French Revolution. Versailles is therefore famous not only as a building, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy of the Ancient Régime.

COMME des GARÇONS - White Drama
Creative breaks, Rei Kawakubo transfigures the classic exercise of the parade and distorts the codes of haute couture. White with Drama and almost monochrome models, it magnifies the major stages of life: birth, marriage, death and transcendence. Drama White is white, pure, ceremony and all its nuances. Outbreaks floral puff of handkerchiefs, fleecy material, here inspired lace holes of a christening gown and there an ornamental knot obi way, great coats and high hats reminiscent of the Sevillian processions of Holy Week, the dress married like the envelope of an insect and silky fabrics, turns raw and refined, bright and dull, opaque and transparent, that stand, breathe, flourish borrowing from the mineral, vegetable and animal life forces of nature.White Drama is a tour de force because it emanates from these architectures scholarly fashion an intangible dimension that affects the spiritual and transports you into the world of unclassifiable Rei Kawakubo.

Stella McCartney Resort 2013
Totally in luv with this collection! Why? Because Stella McCartney made just like a resume of last 2 years trends. She made a combination from Tigra prints to fringes that are still chic. I was a lil bored with some of them but mix of those ones are really incredible. Lace, fringes, flare shapes, tigra prints, plisse, suits, tartan everything i love is presented in Stella world!

DIY: How To Make a Chain Bracelet
Cut 2 sets of 15 strands of embroidery thread, with each strand measuring four times the length of the bracelet. Knot all the threads at the top, leaving about 2 inches of slack. Sandwich each set between a bobby pin – this will help you easily weave the threads through the links of the bracelet. Lay the threads to the left of the bracelet. Pull the first color (coral) from under the first link and over the top of the left side.

Ari Seth Cohen - Advanced Style (Exclusive)
Ari Seth Cohen is a person who made a great job in fashion world. He is an owner of ADVNACED STYLE blog. Im a permanent visitor of his blog and checking out the style of elders. You know i've posted about Iris Apfel (Click here), Elders style (Click here) and for the next issue in AmartaEXPRESS i made an article about elders style. What i mean is that age doesn't matter in fashion. They are people with a huge experience, personality and amazing style. If we wear some accessories with closed eyes, they always think too much which, how and why to wear. Today i found out the film Ari Seth was making about their style in TV and there was an interview with 91 years old woman who was saying that without accessories outfit is not finished. Accessories gives you a possibility to express your feelings better. So, not to get bored with my opinions, i've decided to make an interview with that guy, who found advanced style and became the most popular blogger in the world.
Anobano: So, when decided to make a blog why the style of advanced people was the most interesting for you?

A Littke Bit Eternal - Rick Owens & Michele Lamy
Rick Owens first met his wife, Michele Lamy, more than twenty years ago when he was employed as a pattern maker in the design company she owned and ran in Los Angeles. In 2008, in a definitive New Yorker profile, he described her as “a mesmerising sphinx. I’m so fascinated by someone who acts completely on instinct and feelings, where I’m so pragmatic and sensible and kind of, compared to her, boring and conservative.” Such things are relative, clearly. In 2003, and by that point heading up the successful Rick Owens label, the pair migrated to a five-storey mansion in the Seventh Arrondissement of Paris where they now live and work. “It was kind of like, wow, I never expected this to happen, but here we are, this demands something special,” Owens once said of the move.
