AVTDANDIL SS 2013

For Spring/Summer 2013 the woman by AVTANDIL is very glamour and refined. Black an white colors was dominant in his collection. Classy dresses with pepulms, high waist of skirts with tops and massive necklaces are S/S 2013 details in this collection. I loved the mix of lace, chiffon and other materials. Shape of dresses are really amazing and i think it will fit each type of woman. And finally, my favorite dress is the red one that i wish to have in my wardrobe!

TFW S/S 2013 Day 1

TBILISI FASHION WEEK 2012 took place in Holiday Inn. Opening was great as always. Im glad to see  too much fashion bloggers on this year. The first show that was on this "weekend de la mode" was Georgian designer KETI CHKHIKVADZE. She presented S/S 2013 collection. The white color was the dominant one. Asymmetrical skirts, dresses, polka dots and wedges was very remarkable from the show. What i want to emphasize also is shiny materials, that are S/S 2013 trend from Burberry Prorsum, Christian Dior and many other fashion shows.

Infusing his iconic aesthetic for the French house with a motorcycle motif, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci gravitates towards prints, contrasted fabrics and impeccable cuts for a strong pre-season showing. Elongating silhouettes and embracing smart layers, tailored suits of moleskin, velvet, wool and satin are juxtaposed with sportier pieces that expose the label’s streetwear appeal. Dressed with stars, stripes, studs and argyle, the collection maintains a graphic nature, further highlighted by checks and a combination of workerwear-inspired cuts and cheeky accents.

The scene was a Chanel homecoming of sorts, a show that dramatized Coco Chanel’s lifelong romance with tweed, tartan, and cashmere, played out in the courtyard of Linlithgow Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. “I like the emotion of it,” said Karl Lagerfeld.

TBILISI FASHION WEEK 2012

Tbilisi Fashion Week kicks off from 14 to 16 December 2012 .TFW 2012 will take place in hotel "Holiday Inn". Schedule is already announced. It will be uncasual fashion week, not properly to seasons. Instead of presenting S/S 2013, designers will present collections dedicated to New Year's mood. Hope it will be great and well-organized as always .In addition this is pretty hard work to perform such event cause of  current situation in our country. Approximately 10 well-known designer will take part in fashion week. Hope everything will be as good as it's appropriate for this event.

ALEXANDER WANG is Balenciaga's new creative director. The New York-based designer will replace Nicolas Ghesquière at the French fashion house, who officially leaves today - after 15 years at the helm. WWD reports that market sources confirmed the appointment and an announcement from the brand is expected to be released next week. Neither Balenciaga nor Alexander Wang officials could be reached this morning.
