Patrick Demarchelier Exhibition in Paris A Galerie

Located in the heart of Paris’ 16th arrondissement, A. Galerie, has become the first gallery in the Alma area of the city to dedicate itself to photography and contemporary art. Opting to exhibit most notably the works of Martin Schoeller, Albert Watson and Rankin, gallery director Arnaud Adida has now opted to collaborate with photographer Patrick Demarchelier for this new summer exhibit. Titled quite simply ‘Desire’, the event showcases a collection of some of the most beautiful photos of Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen and Christy Turlington.

One Day with Les frères Ferré

My dear readers, i've graduated Georgian American University ( GAU) Business Administration - Marketing. So im really glad, as i've passed one more step in my life. Now it's time to work hard in order to reach success. Next goal is Master degree of fashion Marketing in IFA (International Fashion Academy of Paris). About the event, it was really memorable day for me . Salome Mkheidze Collection during Be Next contest 2013

Be Next is a fashion design contest, which is founded by Sophia Tchkonia. This contest helps young talented designers to present their collections to the large audience including professionals from world fashion industry. I really appreciate the work of the people who organize this contest and give chance young designers to get more experienced and become successful. Each year contest takes place in Kobuleti, Georgia Palace Hotel. This was the very first year i've attended it and  found  out a lot of crazy talented people. One of my fav was Salome Mkheidze with her HAUTE Collection called "Memories". As i talked with her, inspiration came from bead knitting technologies. She used Golden, wooden bead,s metallic details and pearls. All handmade. Loved her pieces a lot. I think she has a lot of potentials being a successful designer, not only in Georgia. Talent never disappears.

The Paris Hôtel de Ville is celebrating haute couture with this exhibition. "Paris haute couture" gives visitors an opportunity to admire some exceptional examples of haute couture dresses or outfits, chosen from among the most beautiful pieces in the Galliera museum collections. Tbilisi Fashion Week Fall 2013/14 Review

Tatuna Nikolaishvili is a really talented designer. Her collections are always interesting. She really retells some story by clothing.

Atelier Kikala Fall 2013/14

Lado Bokuchava is a creative director of new Georgian based brand Atelier Kikala. His debut was really successful on Tbilisi Fashion Week. Brand's fall 2013/14 collection was very trendy, creative and commercial. Handmade cutouts of leather really inspired me. Loved the styling also including make-up and hairstyle. I want emphasize that it was the only brand who presented proper shoes with a good quality. Green printed shirts are really to die for. 

Wish one piece from collection in my wardrobe :)

Materiel Fall 2013/14

Atelier Materiel is a Georgian Fashion house where to talented designers George Keburia and Likuna Chitaia are creating collections. Their style are pretty different from each other. Likuna's collection was very trendy, more commercial. Loved headscarves that i used in my editorial for BEAUMONDE MAGAZINE (Click here). George's collection was a mix of classy and modern styles. Both are very talented and want to wish them success.

Ria Keburia Fall 2013/14 TFW DAY1

Crazy talented young Georgian designer Ria keburia presented really innovative and interesting collection during Tbilisi fashion week. Main color of collection was black with some yellow prints and cutouts.Yellow headpieces were also spectacular that really inspired me. Footwear was really uncasual and intersting for me. Finally i loved the collection, because it was really different and innovative for me.

Marc Bouwer During TFW Fall 2013/14 Day1

Marc Bouwer is a fashion designer who was raised in South Africa and now works in New York City.Upon winning the South African Vogue Young Designers Award, Marc Bouwer moved to New York City to further pursue his dream of dressing Hollywood. Shortly after, Bouwer's portfolio raised the eyebrows of designer, Roy Halston Frowick. Bouwer apprenticed with Halston fine tuning his design skills, particularly draping. Bouwer's "cut" and modern use of stretch fabrics, such as jersey and spandex, in evening wear coined the term "bathing suit gown" and gave way to "athletic glamour" .Marc Bouwer Couture celebrates starlets as well as their iconic figures walking the red carpet on clients such as Zhang Ziyi, Beyoncé, Emily Blunt, and Lydia Hearst. Actress Angelina Jolie arrived at the 2004 Academy Awards in a white satin Marc Bouwer gown, later named one of the best Oscar dresses of all time by André Leon Talley.

During Tbilisi Fashion Week Fall 2013/14 he is a guest of honour. First day of fashion week was opened with his glamurous exhibition. Im really happy that the person like Marc, who is really important in world fashion industry is attending Georgian fashion designers shows and can express his ideas, remarks and advices, which is really important for them to grow as a professionals.
